This document contains the official Privacy Policy (GDPR Compliant) and the Beta Testing Terms of Service for the game VoidOutpost.
// PART I: PRIVACY POLICY
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
The Data Controller of the personal data collected through the VoidOutpost website is Futurtech, with its registered office in Warsaw, Poland, contact e-mail address: support@voidoutpost.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Data Controller").
The Data Controller takes utmost care to protect the interests of data subjects and, in particular, ensures that the collected data is:
- processed lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner,
- collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes,
- minimized and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes of processing,
- pseudonymized or anonymized where technically feasible (such as hashing IP addresses using secure cryptographic functions).
2. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING
Your personal data (e-mail address and anonymized IP hash) is processed for the following purposes:

Registration for the Closed Beta / Pre-Alpha Testing:
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (the voluntary consent of the User expressed by completing and transmitting the registration form).
Purpose: To facilitate recruitment for the VoidOutpost testing phases, distribute digital access keys, and collect gameplay feedback. -
Subscription to the Newsletter Service:
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (the voluntary consent of the User).
Purpose: To transmit progress reports on the game's development, launch announcements, and major release updates on Steam and Mobile platforms. -
Security Enforcement and Abuse Prevention (Anti-Spam /
Anti-Cheat):
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (the legitimate interest of the Data Controller).
Purpose: To block automated bot operations, prevent registration spam, and protect the server infrastructure from denial-of-service attempts.
3. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Your personal data will be stored for the following durations:
- For Beta Testing registrations – until the official conclusion of the VoidOutpost public launch phase or until the User withdraws their consent.
- For Newsletter subscriptions – until the User unsubscribes by clicking the opt-out link in any newsletter email or by contacting the Data Controller directly.
- For Anonymized IP hashes (security logs) – for a maximum period of 30 days from the moment of transmission.
4. USER RIGHTS (GDPR/RODO)
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access to your personal data and to receive a copy of it.
- Right to rectification (correction) of your data if it is inaccurate.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") – you can demand the complete deletion of your e-mail from our database at any time.
- Right to restrict processing of your data.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (such as the President of the Personal Data Protection Office - PUODO in Poland, or your local national data protection authority).
5. DATA RECIPIENTS
The recipients of your data will solely be trusted technical entities supporting the operation of VoidOutpost, i.e., the hosting provider and e-mail delivery services (if applicable). The Data Controller does not sell, lease, or trade personal data to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
// PART II: CLOSED BETA TESTING AGREEMENT
1. PARTICIPATION AND ELIGIBILITY
Signing up for the closed beta via the website does not guarantee access to the game. The total number of available slots in the Pre-Alpha and Closed Beta phases is strictly limited.
The selection of active testing participants (hereinafter referred to as "Testers") is at the sole discretion of the Data Controller.
Participation in the testing phases is entirely voluntary and unpaid. Testers are not entitled to any financial compensation or employment benefits.
2. NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT (CONFIDENTIALITY)
The Closed Pre-Alpha and Closed Beta testing phases of VoidOutpost are strictly confidential. The Tester agrees not to publish, distribute, transmit, or disclose any materials, assets, or information from the game to any third party.
This restriction strictly prohibits:
- Sharing screenshots or images of the game client,
- Publishing gameplay videos, walkthroughs, or let's-play guides,
- Live streaming the game on platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, Discord, TikTok, etc.,
- Publicly discussing unannounced gameplay mechanics, storylines, or bugs on forums, social media, or public chat servers.
Breach of this confidentiality agreement will result in immediate termination of the Tester’s access to VoidOutpost and may subject the Tester to civil liability.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All copyrights, trade secrets, source codes, visual designs, assets, audio files, and the VoidOutpost brand name remain the exclusive property of the Data Controller.
Any ideas, suggestions, bug reports, and telemetry data submitted by the Tester during the testing phase shall become the exclusive property of the Data Controller.
4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES (NO WARRANTY)
The Pre-Alpha and Beta versions of the game are unfinished, experimental software builds. They may contain bugs, cause system crashes, or result in sudden data corruption and gameplay save-wipes.
The Data Controller provides the software "AS IS" and shall not be held liable for any system crashes, data loss, hardware damage, or other technical issues resulting from the installation of unfinished game builds.
